I listen to quite a few podcasts. Here is my list of top 10 JavaScript podcasts:
1. Syntax.fm
Entertaining, up to date and on point. Wes Bos and Scott Tolinski make their livings from educating people in JavaScript. This podcast is a little different to the others in this list because they have no guests. They have both longer episodes and ‘Hasty Treats’ 20ish minute episodes to sink your teeth into. Well worthy of the #1 spot.
2. JavaScript Jabber
I started listening to these guys in 2016 when I first started listening to podcasts. Highly relevant and up to date JavaScript content in a laid back manner, where guests are the focus. Produced by DevChat.tv. Always ends with a bunch of random/JavaScript/web related picks!
3. React Roundup
For all things React. Laid back, guest led style. Produced by DevChat.tv so similiar style to JavaScript Jabber.
4. React Podcast
Another quality React specific podcast.
5. JavaScript – Software Engineering Daily
Solid, in depth talks about JavaScript topics. Professional and to the point, with in depth explorations.
6. The Frontside Podcast
Professional, interesting chats with guests, with plenty of input from the hosts (who work at app development company Frontside).
7. Egghead.io Developer Chats
Brought to you by Egghead.io. Chats usually complement new courses on the site. Like the courses on Egghead, chats are short and to the point. Good to listen to then follow up on and do the course on Egghead.
8. Chats with Kent
From the ubiquitous (at least in the JavaScript world) Kent C Dodds (of react-testing-library, cross-env, downshift, glamorous etc. fame) comes some chats about JavaScript and the web in general.
